Farmers Market

Nothing says summer like the Prattville Farmers Market! Located in The Grove, on Doster Road across from the Gillespie Senior Center in downtown Prattville.

The market is held on Saturdays in June, July, and August, from 7:00 a.m. to noon.

Tables ready for buyers display produce, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, plants, and homemade soaps. Peaches, corn, tomatoes, okra, and other fine crops grown locally, are available at the peak of freshness. Entire families are out and about visiting with friends and enjoying special events such as live music, guest speakers, and cooking demonstrations scheduled by the city.

On Saturdays in June, Autauga County Master Gardeners Association volunteers are present, providing the public with gardening ideas and tips, schedules for the free Lunch and Learn series lectures, information about The Helpline, the annual plant sale, and the Demonstration and Prattvillage Gardens. Soil testing kits are available, and volunteers offer soil pH testing on site. Master Gardeners are always ready to answer gardening questions!
